Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is there a minimum USDC deposit amount to earn GM Points?

Yes. The minimum deposit amount required to start earning points is 100 USDC. To earn and claim points continuously, you need to maintain your deposit above this minimum threshold. If your balance dips below 100 USDC, you'll only earn points for the periods during which your balance was above the minimum. Similarly, to receive point boosts from referrals, both you and your referrals must each maintain at least 100 USDC in deposits.

How are points calculated?

Points are calculated based on the amount of USDC you lend and borrow, the duration of these activities in the lending pool, and the number of eligible referrals you have. Detailed formulas and examples can be found in the GM Points documentation.

Can I withdraw at any time?

Yes. You are free to withdraw your tokens at any time, provided you haven't borrowed or that your withdrawal keeps your health factor above 1. This ensures you can manage your funds flexibly without penalty.

What happens to my points if I withdraw completely?

Withdrawing your funds will cease further points accumulation for the withdrawn amount. However, your accumulated points will remain intact and can be claimed whenever you choose. Withdrawal does not affect points already earned; they simply move from "earned" to "claimed" status once you initiate a claim.

How does the referral program work?

You can earn additional points by referring new users who then deposit and borrow at least 100 USDC from the pool. Each eligible referral enhances your point earnings, up to a maximum of 10 referrals per wallet. For more on how this works, consult the GM Points formulas and examples.

Can an address be its own referrer to game the Points system?

No. The system is designed to prevent self-referral and gaming of the points mechanism.

How long do points accrue for?

Points accrue until the official end of the GM Points Program. The current end date set in the GM Points contract is a placeholder; the actual closing date for point accrual will be announced later.
